Welcome to the Queen's Gate School Digital Archive
This online catalogue provides access to every copy of The Log, our School’s annual magazine, first printed in 1902. You may also find an additional Photographic Archive with images from throughout the School’s history.
It has only been possible to launch this exciting online project thanks to the generosity of the Queen's Gate Parents and Teachers Association. The Archive is a continual work in progress and as such we will add to it annually as funds become available. Should you wish to support the Archives, please contact the School’s External Relations Department on alumnae@queensgate.org.uk.
Browsing and Searching the Digital Archive
You can browse and search copies of The Log and the Photographic Archives by selecting the Digital Collections tab.
Each magazine and photograph have been digitally reproduced to provide a comprehensive search facility that enables the user to search within a specific magazine or across the whole archive. You may search a topic by entering a keyword or a combination of search terms.
Search results are returned as thumbnails and selecting a thumbnail allows you to either, view a larger image or display the issue of the Log containing the search term. The Log is displayed in a Flip Book format and has its' own search feature to display each page containing the chosen search term. Alternatively you can browse the magazines as a whole, and scroll through using the page navigation option.
For more details on how to use the system, please refer to the Help page.
Posting comments
Users can post comments and tag photographs with names, dates, places and events by using the "Add information" option adjacent to each image.
